Sub inventory:
Subinventory
Transfer are used to move material from
one subinventory to another. Sub inventory is like a different types of
material as like Raw Material, Finished Goods, Staging, Stores etc. We move
material across sub inventories in various scenarios. Suppose to ship a sales
order we move material from FG to Staging sub inventory.
Navigation:
Inventory Responsibility > Subinventory Transfer

Check the on-hand
quantity screen.

Enter Item Information , From Subinventory and To Subinventory information.
Locator data and Lot information is required based on item setup.

Enter Item Information , From “FG” Subinventory
To “Staging” Subinventory information. Locator
data and Required Quantity.
Steps: 10.
Lot Number and Required Quantity
information is required based on item setup.

information is required based on item setup.

Lot Number and Required Quantity
information is required based on item setup.
Then
Save the data.

the on-hand quantity screen.

left panel you can observe that now lot number “FG-43” is in “Staging”
subinventory.

Check
the on-hand quantity screen. On the
left panel you can observe that now lot number “FG-43” is in “Staging”
subinventory.
Complete the process.
